Ahead of the crate

Well, I read uncrate regularly and was surprised to see them highlight Tom Petty's new choons nearly two months after it was featured here. That type of thing always makes this independent blogger feel cooler than usual. And since they've got a contest running for some hip-ass sneaks, I figured I'd enter.

Altered Oceans

Someone very special to me forwarded this five part series on something that should be very important to all of us: the health of the world's oceans. Consider the massive role the oceans play in the planet's weather, or the food-chain of human and other anuimal populations. And to top it all off, the oceans are only going to get bigger and have more influence on the planet.

Check it out. And if you don't care, at the very least watch more nature documentaries that take you beyond your apartment/commute/office universe. That should help you find a clue.
