NYR 1 - TOR 2

Well, last night's game was pretty entertaining, from Stajan's opening minutes flub on an open net off a beauty Wellwood pass, to Moore's line impressing big time, to Jagr blowing by Berg, Straka ringing the post on a break away, Khavanov's hail mary lob to Kilger, Lindros almost beheading Tucker, McCabe pinching horribly on the PP to allow an odd man rush, and a couple of calls that I didn't understand.

I think the Ortmeyer call for touching Belfour was a make up call for a missed interference call when someone ran into Eddie in the first. Or at least that was the only reason I could come up with.

Larry Brooks was all complaining about the refs, but the Rangers main problem was getting through the neutral zone. Dellapina includes a good explanation of the Hossa no-goal. Newsday has the best NY-area recap. Rangers Game Log does a fine job as well.

GTA coverage is all ga-ga for McCabe, who really needs to take a defensive responsibility refresher course at...somewhere. Next up, the boys from Beantown.
